TransLink, Inc. Opens New Offices in Seattle and Houston - Expands Wind Energy Logistics and Solutions
TransLink, Inc. is expanding and repositioning national operations to better serve customers and take advantage of new opportunities, especially within the dynamic wind energy industry. This includes:
· Opening a new corporate headquarters in Seattle/Mukilteo, WA:
o Focusing on wind energy logistics and solutions
o Developing Delivery-on-Demand for wind energy
o Consolidating administrative and accounting functions
· Refocusing the Tulsa, OK office:
o Focusiong on North American Regional Business Development in both wind energy and dimensional freight
o Adding logistics solutions expert Travis Anderson as Senior Business Development Manager
· Opening a new dimensional freight office in Houston, TX:
o Responsible for transport logistics operations
o Focusing on heavy, dimensional, and special projects
o Allows TransLink to work with partners AND customers more effectively
o Adding dimensional freight expert Javier Villaraus as Vice President, Rail & Logistics
· Opening a major logistic facility and office in South Carolina:
o Ship-to-rail-to-storage trans-load handling of dimensional heavy freight
· Creating the Manly, Iowa Logistics Park Partnership
o Expanded the Manly site to 165 acres
o Readied for rail receiving, laydown and heavy item storage
